When I first started listening to The Huberman Lab, I was fired up—ready to optimize everything: sleep, focus, gut health, immune function, neuroplasticity. I tested new science-backed protocols weekly, eager to make real, lasting changes.
But modern life is full of responsibilities and endless off-ramps of distraction. After a few weeks of sticking to the protocols, I'd inevitably get sidetracked, forgetting even the simplest routines—like seeing sunlight to regulate my circadian rhythm.
As a visual person, I needed something beautiful and ever-present in my space—a visual trigger to keep these game-changing protocols front and center. So, I coined an approach called SRD: See it. Remember it. Do it.
And that's how Neuroscience became one of my core creative themes. It's a foundational part of the Ojala Arts mission—creating original artwork that inspires well-being. ¡Ojalá!
